PERMANENT ROOMMATES SEASON 3 REVIEW:-

Permanent Roommates has developed over time while preserving its basic fan appeal. The first season of the show, which began in 2014, enthralled fans with its realistic portrayal of a young couple’s love story, Mikesh and Tanya. However, by the time Season 2 arrived in 2016, it had evolved into a more traditional Bollywood-style entertainer, complete with familial turmoil, love, and humor.

Season 3 continues the couple’s journey as they negotiate their lives together in Mumbai and cope with the momentous decision of moving abroad after a seven-year hiatus. This action creates a key tension that calls their love and established life in Mumbai into question. The sitcom retains its connection with its followers, with the characters of Mikesh (or Mikey) and Tanya (called Tannu) staying approachable and entertaining, allowing a seamless re-entry into their world.

This five-part series, directed by Shreyansh Pandey, is a mixed bag of emotions that depicts the difficulties that young couples face. Despite the fact that the snappy banter has been toned down, the drama still manages to provide amusing moments. A greater analysis of the characters’ day-to-day concerns as they aged could have provided additional complexity to the plot.

Tannu’s beloved partner is still Mikey, and nothing has changed this season. Sumeet Vyas and Nidhi Singh are both excellent in their parts, and their chemistry is one of the show’s highlights. Tanya’s father and maasi (played brilliantly by Shishir Sharma and Ayesha Raza Mishra), and Mikey’s mother (played magnificently by Sheeba Chadha) are played by the supporting cast. Deepak Mishra’s return as an overbearing friend Purushottam Ji makes you laugh with his one-liners. Sachin Pilgaonkar, who portrays a happy-go-lucky neighbor, does a good job.

In 30-35-minute episodes, ‘Permanent Roommates’ Season 3 continues to explore the complexities of Mikesh and Tanya’s relationship while offering realistic and heartbreaking moments.
