Jhimma 2 Movie Review:-
Hemant Dhome, the creator of Jhimma, has reimagined the film with Jhimma 2. The second part, set in a foreign trip with the seven ladies, focuses on the women’s reunion to celebrate Indu’s 75th birthday. The film introduces two new faces, Rinku Rajguru and Shivani Surve, who are at the center of the story and take it forward. The film’s’slice of life’ approach makes it both entertaining and introspective, with different personalities and approaches bound together by Siddharth Chandekar’s Kabir.
The actors, including Nirmitee Sawant, Kshitee Jog, Suchitra Bandekar, Kshitee Jog, and Sayali Sanjeev, deliver their best performances. Sayali Sanjeev’s carefree character is beautifully brought to life, while Suhas Joshi’s work is impressive. Rinku and Shivani Surve’s performances are also noteworthy.
Screenplay and dialogues are the foundation of the film, with Hemant’s direction bringing out their beauty perfectly. The film feels slightly stretched at times, but overall, it is a story of emotions that presents a side of reality and encourages introspection. Jhimma 2 is a good watch, and the possibility of a sequel is uncertain.
