A serial killer claiming to be Lord Vishnu’s tenth avatar is on the loose. Will he be able to be stopped?
Dawshom Awbotaar Movie Review:-
Dawshom Awbotaar is a film by Srijit Mukherji, set in the early 2000s. The story follows police officer Probir Roy Chowdhury (Baishey Srabon and Dwitiyo Purush) and officer Bijoy Poddar (Anirban Bhattacharya), who work together to catch a serial killer using stories of the ten avatars of Vishnu. Despite their differences, they form an unlikely bond as they try to stop the antagonist (Jisshu U Sengupta) from committing the murders.
Prosenjit Chatterjee delivers a powerful performance as Probir Roy Chowdhury, while Anirban’s street-smart Bijoy Poddar is a perfect match for his veteran’s suave avatar. The film also features Jaya Ahsan as Moitreyee, but her chemistry with Anirban is tame compared to the lead cop pair.
Soumik Halder’s cinematography and well-shot action sequences are a bonus, and the soundtrack is solid, with energetic songs like “Agunkheko” and “Ami sei manushta aar nei” being hummable. The palpable chemistry between Prosenjit and Anirban is a rare treat, making Dawshom Awbotaar an entertaining watch this festive season.
