Manush Movie Review:-
Manush: Child of Destiny is a film directed by Sanjoy Somadder, starring Jeet Jeetu as a police officer, Arjun, who fights drug smugglers, particularly Chhota Mannan (Jeetu). As circumstances change, Arjun becomes a victim of society and its norms. The storyline is predictable, but tight editing and appropriate back stories keep the plot moving.
Jeet plays a larger-than-life police officer, tough on criminals and a good father, while Mannan, a man from poverty, has risen from abject poverty. The dynamic between the lead pair is interesting and easier to watch than the lukewarm chemistry. Saurav Chakravarti adds a comic element to the film. The action sequences are shot impeccably, and the film has some violence, but the screenplay is weak. The characters’ sudden change of heart without reason makes their loyalties divided.
The exaggerated expressions and gestures of the major female characters impede the seriousness of the matter. Overall, Manush: Child of Destiny is a good watch for those seeking a reckless action flick.
