Sugar Factory follows Arya and Aditi, two non-believers in the concept of marriage who meet in a Goa tavern and eventually fall in love.

Ammalu, a popular YouTuber, embarks on a journey to Goa to explore the famous pub ‘Sugar Factory’. She meets Arya, a wedding planner who lives life full tilt without commitment. They meet Adithi, a techie, and they start a relationship on Instagram. However, they part ways soon as they realize their philosophies on life and love. Arya moves to Mysuru and meets Nandini, who falls in love with Arya. The story introduces another twist as Nandini falls in love with Arya.
Director Deepak Aras’ Sugar Factory is based on a true story and takes a formulaic approach to the romantic subject. It has several layers and incorporates how youngsters approach relationships. The Goa and Kazakhstan-based shooting is visually stunning, but the song placement is abrupt.
Darling Krishna continues the romantic genre with Sugar Factory, while Sonal and Adhvithi characters add different perspectives to the story. Overall, Sugar Factory is a new generation love story that makes for a fine weekend watch.
