Dhootha Season 1 Story:-
Sagar (Naga Chaitanya), a respected and important writer with a large network, takes over as chief editor of the prestigious daily Samacharam. His wife, Priya (Priya Bhavani Shanker), an accomplished journalist herself, and their daughter, Anjali, create a close-knit family with their beloved dog. However, their lives take an unexpected turn when their pet is killed in a terrible accident caused by a forewarning newspaper article with the exact facts of the tragedy.
This encounter is the first in a sequence of frightening signals foreshadowing future events, exposing a persistent force targeting dishonest journalists and causing anguish to Sagar’s whole family. Sagar puts himself under suspicion as Police Investigating Officer Kranthi Shenoy (Parvathy Thiruvothu) becomes involved. The emerging story raises concerns about Sagar’s involvement.
